Come and join Emma for her friendly, and mindful focused yoga class, every Wednesday.

Give your body and mind a break!

Perfect for all levels and abilities, Emma’s lunchtime yoga class releases tensions in your body and your mind and helps you face whatever is going on in your life.

The hatha based class starts with stretches designed to open the upper body and help you breathe more fully and easily. The class then follows a series of yoga poses that take you through every part of the body, and ends with a calming breath exercise.

Emma is a Yoga Alliance senior yoga teacher, who trained in 2010 with the Sivananda Yoga organisation and then did further training across a wide range of yoga disciplines. Her classes combine her knowledge and experience to create a class that works on every part of the body in synergy with the breath, as well as focusing and relaxing the mind. Emma’s classes will improve your flexibility, strength, balance, body awareness, concentration and stress levels.

Day:   Wednesday   |   Time: 12pm (UK time)   |   Duration: 45 minutes 

If you are unable to attend one of your pass sessions, Emma will forward a recording of the class so that you can practice at home at a time that is convenient for you.

Feeling a bit stiff? Want some mental calmness? Not sure if yoga is for you? Then join Emma’s Yoga for Everyone class, which is suitable for all ages, abilities and levels of strength and flexibility. The 90 minute class starts with breathing exercises designed to help you breathe more fully and easily, then follows a series of yoga poses that take you through every part of the body. The class finishes with a short relaxation. Absolutely no prior knowledge of yoga is needed. Register now to book your place!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Yoga In Somerset - shop

A yoga mat, foam blocks or cushions so that you can sit on the floor comfortably (chairs are also suitable). If you have a yoga strap this is also useful, although a long scarf or men’s tie can also be successfully used.

WHAT TO WEAR:

Loose, comfortable clothes such as a t-shirt and jogging bottoms, leggings, pyjamas and shorts are also suitable. You must be able to move in your clothes.
